There was simply no way this would have been "good". Especially after fable 3.
At least it shows the positive reviews and not just the negative - which is called being biased.

While Fable the journey may be a disappointment, there is still one kinect game I want to get, NBA Baller Beats. It holds a 74 on meta right now, and it seems the only real complaint I've heard about the game is you must have the right environment to play in.

to clarify your misleading title, as i have a xbox 360 and i cannot play fable: journey; it is a kinect exclusive.

There are 3 reviews in Metacritic. That's not even enough for them to formulate an average, or lead to any decent discussion. Poor choice.
On topic: 30 (low) and 90 (high) is a huge disparity in review scores. How one reviewer can find it one of the best games of the year and another can find it virtually unplayable is bizzare.

Wow Kinect really is a hater magnet. I hope next gen it comes with 360 by default and devs use it properly. I also find those reviews quite biased agains't it. I tried the demo and it wasn't that bad but still not my kind of game. I wouldn't give it 30% though but higher 60s so fans of both Kinect and Fable know they can enjoy the game.
Kinect reviews are to me the same as if I asked a COD player to review barbie games. Not the same customer, not the same interrests but people just like to hate.
I also like how meta critic is all relevant now but when it's other games ohh don't judge a game by it's meta score...
