I think twenty characters is plenty, especially when more can be added later on. I would love for there to be even more, but Sony don't generally like leaving announcements until the last minute, so don't hold your breath.

Oh yeah, twenty characters is fine with me, especially considering it's the first game in the series... provided they turn it into a series that is, lol. But a lot of people are saying there aren't enough characters, and even if there is, they haven't picked the right ones to be in the game, I'll admit the only characters I don't like are Big Daddy, and the fact that there are two Coles, not sure why, with Cole, they couldn't do what they've done with Toro and have different stances that give him completely different move sets... but whatever.

I just think that Sony and SuperBot will surprise fans, since they've been asking for more characters, and obviously if they want the game to do well, they're going to want to listen to the fans, lol.

I'm probably going to be disappointed, but I'm sticking with my opinion, that we'll have more than 20 at launch, lol.

You dislike Big Daddy as a character? He may not be Sony, but fighting with him is a blast. He's like the Battle Royale version of Bowser, and you need somebody like that because Sony's heroes are all so slim and puny

I fucking wish we had Solid Snake though.

 

They said the final boss or whatever, is a master mind. Any ideas? I am seriously clue less.

Polygon Man will be an amazing boss, I'm hoping on him. Plus, about final roster,  I think they're lying, just like Jaffe did.

Yeah, I really do think they're keeping some characters extra secret until release... and what do you mean just like Jaffe did? Am I missing something?


Jaffe said he wasn't ever going to return to Twisted Metal...and he did.

I hope you're right, but if all of those extra characters come from paid DLC a lot of people will get mad.

Hideo Kojima just doesn't want Metal Gear Solid to get ruined. Twisted Metal has been ruined the PS2 era. David Jaffe didn't want to look like he didn't have control over his own studio.

Who would spread negative news like only 20 chars in the game and risk people not wanting the game anymore because of it.
