How often do you see Superslim advertisements?

Never 106 71.14%

Rarely 22 14.77%

Mildly often 10 6.71%

Frequently 5 3.36%

Excessively 6 4.03%

Here in the US I see no TV ads, no internet ads...nothing. I think Sony is waiting to promote it in the holidays.

Beverly Hills?  Grosse Point?

Huh?

Most people who say they live in Detroit don't live in Detroit, they live in one of the 'burbs.

For instance:

"Where do you live?"
"Detroit."
"No, really."
"Plymouth."
"Where abouts?"
"14655 Eckles Rd. in Plymouth."

I live on Fenkell. That's as precise as I'm willing to give on the internet.

Holy cow has Detroit changed!

The area off of Woodward Ave is so built up I can't even recognize anything anymore.  I used to describe that area as a war zone.  Along Woodward, you'd have boarded up store fronts, but go behind the shops that lined Woodward and you'd be greeted to vacant lots or burned out brownstones.

Nice to see Detroit rebuilt, though its going through some tough times.

I can still remember driving past a motel that was burned out during a Hell Night torching.  Fun stuff.

People always say that but its not that bad if you grew up here. It all just seems normal.

Only Nintendo and MS rarely do advertisements in my country. In all my life I've never seen a Sony's console or handheld commercial, only on dedicated gaming stores I have see them, but that it's obvious of course.

I saw one ad... on the Playstation Blog.

4 ≈ One

I haven't seen any ads for it in my city, odd really you would think they would want ads on it everywhere you go and in everything you watch. But nothing.....I just hope when I do see one that it isn't like the ps3 commercial where the baby doll is freaking out. I still don't get the point to that commercial.

No PS3 slim ads, only 360 ads. Saw a lot of 3DS ads 6 months ago but none now.

Here in NZ, there havent been a lot of ads by sony BUT companies have been advertising - there are plenty of deals featuring the new slim in a lot of stores here as well as in mailers and newspapers - bundles and discounts.

They are most likely waiting to spend their advertisement dollars during a more active time than right now. I think they will hit in full force in November. That's not a bad thing either, just because they launched it doesn't mean they need to advertise it right away. Holding off till people are more willing to buy a console might have a greater effects as it will most likely be the first time they heard about the new PS3.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
