First of all, the Vita isn't dying, it's launching....there's a difference. It's a late bloomer just like the PS3.

That being said, I say the Wii will win. Not only is it cheaper and more family friendly...wait...that's pretty much the only reason really...

The Wii U launch won't have much of an affect on Wii sales unless Nintendo decides to kill it early like they did the DS.

I think your dreaming on that one the Wii U already acomplished something the Vita hasn't so far its been out and that being its guranteed to be sold out and in high demand for its first couple of weeks.  A lot of people are going to make good money reselling the Wii U to desperate people another thing that didn't happen with the Vita launch.

i think the wii will win because nintendo will drop the price to $99 before black friday and the deals for it around black friday and towards christmas will help it beat the vita by a decent margin.

You sir are misinformed. First of all we don't know how much pre-order stock these stores have. It's not like there's millions of Wii U's sold already. More like a couple thousand. Do some research.

Highly doubt it, there are numerous storys out there that reported that the premium units pretty much sold out in a couple of hours and I'm pretty sure that most of the regular units are gone for the first couple of weeks also.  I also sure that a good amount of people are going to make a nice profit reselling their Wii U to desperate buyers you are the one that is misinformed.

I wish the 3DS had this type sentiment in 2011.  I guess this explains the abundance of doom articles for the 3DS and the deafening silence in this regard with Vita.

I think it really depends on how well that whtie psvita and assassins creed does. If the sales still dont pick up then wii will surely win and in that case i think the only game that will move vitas in america will be grand theft auto
