Before I state if I believe in Ghost or not you should know right away I'm Agnostic. At one point in my life I didn't believe ghost exist at all, and just completely brushed them off because I had never personally encountered anything paranormal. Any of my friends or family that used those ghost shows as evidence, I would tell them they were dumb. The thing is though, ghost being real or not, creep me out and I could go my whole life without seeing one and be a happy man.

Before my mom past away about 9 months every once inwhile I would sit down and watch some of those shows with her because she was addicted to them. Sometimes they were completely redicules, but other times they seemed believable. I'm still on the fence, but towards the last couple of years, I've leaned toward the idea they could possibly be real. I haven't seen anything paranormal at all since my moms passing, and I would like to keep it that way lol.

I guess I'm just trying to say, just because someone hasn't encountered anything paranormal before or possible never will there entire life, doesn't mean it's completely fake. For example, the same thing can be said about life on other planets. The likeliness of human beings finding sufficient evidence that there is life on other planets is slim, or atleast for now, but it doesn't mean life doesn't exist outside earth(which I do believe). 

I'm just bored so I'm trying to start a conversation. BTW if we can keep religion out of this I would appriate it, or atleast keep it civilized :)

ghosts, souls, angels, demons, God, the devil and even other dimensions as well as aliens!

Wouldn't the belief in ghosts go against our understanding of the world via science?

 I'm a science guy myself. In the end, ghost and anything paranormal is a complete fallacy, but there is just something in the back of my head that still thinks they could be real.

It's kind of hard not to (somewhat) believe in ghosts when you're a person like me. :P
(I scare my self easily... so yeah... I guess I believe in "ghosts.")

If string theory is somewhat correct, then ghosts could exist on a different plane that interferes with ours.

Near where we used to live was this huge park, but in the middle of it was this old house. So old it had a sun dial out in the front.
I went in and the was some people around down stairs, the was lots of old (And what looked expensive) stuff. at the way to go up stairs was one of them police "Do not cross" yellow tape things blocking the stairs.

I went under it anyways and went up, all the rooms up stairs also had the yellow tape blocking all the doors.
One of the doors was open so i went under the yellow tape and into the room.

In the room on a mantle place was this one gold looking plate. i went over and picked it up but when i did i could hear footsteps behind me, so i put it down real quick and turned around but the was nothing there. So i picked back up the plate again and then i could hear footsteps once again but getting closer to me, so quickly i put down the plate and turned to see nothing once again.

I figured it must of been just me imagining things and decided to pick up the plate again and take it with me.
Except this time when i picked up the plate i could hear the footsteps right behind me and i got this very cold feeling running down my back and in my shoulders i got really scared this time dropped the plate and went running out of the house.

about 20-30 mins later i was playing on a tree not far from the house when i was standing on a branch and felt a breeze and then something pull me by the two legs off the tree. i busted my nose on the fall.
The was no one around me to pull me off the tree and i was perfectly balanced on it and i was also leaning on another branch with my hands.

The was another time i also seen a ghost or a demon (Not sure might of even been an alien!) with my own eyes. But that will be for another time

Thanks for sharing. It was very descriptive and I enjoyed that read. These are the type of occurances that get me thinking about that kind of stuff.
