All he stated was the obvious. EVERY console gets a price cut in their second year, this isn't news.

The Wii didn't get its first pricecut after three and half years?

The Wii was still the cheapest console three and a half years out.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

no cares,by the time the price cut comes this hardware will be irrelevant, this won't even sell over 4M by December(1st full year of its release)& that is very sad,Sony innovation level is lower then a toddler,no wonder why they're have bankruptcy as an option

it won't even sell 4M by the end of this year & that'll make it its 1st year out which is desprating, when the ps3 wasn't selling it had it's price down 7 months after it came out, this should've already had a price drop this gimmick

Why quote me when what you said has nothing to do with it? Or are you just trying to switch the goal post?

I'm just trying to point out that the system didn't have a pressing need to drop in price because it was already well priced out of the competitions reach. If the Wii cost more to make and was priced similarly to the 360 and PS3, than you wouldn't expect it to have not dropped in price for three and a half years?

Why?

Yay!!!

all the stuff the Vita is able to do was already done mixed with the fact that it has no stand out games for the hardware,i could get better games for cheaper off my cell phone

The Wii is profitable out the door while both the Xbox 360 and PS3 were sold at a hefty loses. Your point?

*sigh* Sony

In five years even Nintendo will probably have a new handheld/tablet out that is beyond the Vita (probably like a portable Wii U) and modern cell phones/tablets by in a couple of years will destroy the Vita for processing power.

So I don't really see how they are serious about a 10 year plan, unless the Vita platform is to be radically altered over time, but in that case you could say the first Playstation lasted 10 years too if you include PS2.

Sony is just trying to do whatever it takes to get out of that hellhole they've put themselves in,every company slumps
