Exactly my thoughts.  I also think Obama and Romney are both crooks who will say or do whatever is necessary to get elected.  I haven't an ounce of respect for either one of them.

The reason why somebody wouldn't vote for a third party is because they feel as if they're hurting the "lesser of two evils" and hence helping the "greater of two evils." Anyway, I'm glad we live in a republic and not a democracy. Mob rule is not fun, while at least in a republic the political minority has some say in the law-making, law-enforcing, and judgement processes. Furthermore, the government should ideally remain weak.

Well, exactly.  That being the case, what is the point in voting?  To increase the number of votes so they can say "Voters are showing up in higher numbers this year"?  It certainly isn't to elect someone we think would be a good President.

Vote 3rd Party/Independent!

That would be the better solution

People who don't vote are sad and disgusting. You are the very reason for your own complaints.

The problem is people think the president can accomplish more than he possibly can. The government, the WORLD, is way more complicated than that.

And that is one of the most cliched responses for people who don't know that voting in a presidential election means nothing; as covered before hand its the electoral college and not the popular vote that determines the president.

I have a very good reason not to vote. I'm not going into it but I understand no one will be able to make any good lasting solutions. And whoever gets elected will pander to those who they think represents the "common people" and the "common good". And because of human preception it different things to different people. They act on what they think is good filter by their preception of the world, and that preception is not the same from one person to the next.

e.g.: Give up. Naw man, that quiter talk doesn't work for me. Either the world goes to hell or it fixes itself, but at least people tried. Either way works for me. Doing nothing is just lame. 

people should just stop voting democrat or republican and vote for other parties, they do exist you know
