Keep them both. Sell a child/sibling/kidney.

VIDEO GAMES RULE!

Sell a neighbour's child/sibling/kidney. When one of them gets distracted.

sell the ps3, cause you can get more money for it, and buy day one the Wii U it needs to get a large user base to be good for third party's

34 years playing games.

I suggest not buying a WiiU because you obviously not into gaming anymore. Not like PS3 and 360 lacking quality new titles to play.

I already have most of my Wii U pre-order paid off, Deluxe for me, its a matter of what I use it for, the 360 and PS3 get little use, not much of it interests me, so to me, why let it collect dust? I have spent near enough $5,000 on my gaming PC and enjoy the heck out of it. Do I care about Halo? No, not truly, a killer, all my FPS gaming is on the PC, we have multiple 3DS systems and the Wii as well, which we need to keep to transfer digital purchases right now (however it might work).

Anyway, I am crazy into gaming and have bought atleast 2 games a month this year, not even counting steam purchases, I could justify to myself letting the PS3 sit there until I decide to make use of it, but definetly not the 360, though im considering messing with the kinect connected to my PC and seeing whats out there. I can't justify letting them both collect dust, and while trading them in is easy, I ususally sell on ebay so I wouldnt take that hit.

I chose my 360, with a couple games I got near $300 for the system. This was a 250GB, Kinect bundle.

Game Stop has a promotion (double money on traded in consoles at the moment, which made it an easy choice.

I am tempted to trade in the PS3 also since I just haven't used it and a quick $190-$200 would be worth it, but will need to pick out some more games (Currently have Nintendo Land coming, AC3 and NSMB U and Black Ops II)

I'd consider ME3, but I am protesting it due to EA. I own the previous two iterations on the PC and was willing to wait for the Wii U version to throw more support to Nintendo (and also not to have Origin on my PC) but what they did with the whole collection is garbage, so I am going to boycott them for a while.

I wouldnt have traded in either, because they never give you enough. But apparently you got double money so thats good :). Comes to preference in gaming to me. I do occasionally sell my consoles to friends though.

If you're like me (and lets hope you're NOT) you'll regret it down the line and have to buy the thing back again. I can't tell you how many times I've done that.

I really wont, the system morphed into a netflix/hulu/amazon/etc box, and nothing more to me, with Nintendo TVii I will have those things and more, I am a primary PC gamer followed by Nintendo at a very very close second.

If you have no interest in Halo 4, sell now and don't look back. Sell PS3 as well, get as much ammo you can for the WU, if money is the issue.

I sold my PS3, but kept the 360 for Madden (the last one, its Wii U vers. next yr) & Halo 4.

No shame in my game, even as a Nintendo fan, I sold my GC and like 20+ games, paying off a big chunk of OG 360. The only console I didn't sell was the SNES, but got pissed one day and smashed it in my garage (R.I.P).

If that's the case, then yes, sell it and sell it NOW. After Halo 4, the next Xbox is going to be announced at E3. So really, this is probably your last chance to make any coin on the thing.

I have sold every console I ever had at least once, accept the NES. I have a top loader, and about 70 games that I bought back when Funcoland use to sell them cheap. All the AAA classics and more. That system is where my inner 8 year old lives and it will go with me to my grave. lol
