I'll buy it just because it's a Resident Evil game.

After RE5 I decided I was never going to buy a new RE game (unless they return to the REAL survivor horror genre). I haven't played the demo yet but I've seen some videos and it looks really bad, this game will probably make me hate the franchise even more. 

First day purchase for me;I love Leon part of the game,wasn't feeling Chris part too much and indifferent about Wesker's son part but all in all I'll get it on Oct.2

I second this notion.  I was playing the demo last night and I am really impressed.  With that said, anyone know how to bring up threads you created?  I wanna go back to my hype thread and give my impressions on the demo but I don't know where it's gone in the forum.

It's pretty fun. Just don't expect a masterpiece. Quality is all over the place. The best moments are some of my favourite moments in the entire series, the worst are easily the worst in the mainline games.

I like it better than RE5 overall.

Yeah I played the demo and hated it. There are too many AAA games coming out in the next few months that I am excited for. This will be a bargain bin purchase for me.
