And honestly how hard is it to imagine. Earlier in the generation prices were higher and owning both or multiple console was probably cost prohibitive for consumers. Now prices have come down and you can pick up the most high profile exclusive games at extremely low prices.

Probably applies to both consoles actually.

I have the 360 slim already and most games that I like are also available on 360, so the PS3 slim doesn't interest me at all. Besides, why should I buy an outdated system when next-gen is a few months away; and 720 is a year away?
