I'm addicted to the slot machines in Moxxi's... ;o
I've wasted thousands of dollars on them

I'm only lvl 8 right now but so far this game it's better than the first one, it maybe be something small and stupid but I love how you can collect money and ammo by just passing above them, huge improvement from the first game.

I also love the new challenge thing where you can spend tokens in acquiring less reload speed, gun accuracy, etc, this is something more games should do.

Nintendo and PC gamer

Finally got myself a purple weapon! ;o
Oh yeah, and i think I've spent ~20k on the slots so far...I have a gambling problem

Btw how many chapters are there? I googled it and I couldn't find an answer...?

Level 13 atm and just did a side mission story line that was absolutely horrible.

"Cult Following"

Seriously those side missions were just a bunch of backtracking. Took ages to find the last marker...

Then another bad side mission is "Medical Mystery". Recommended Level: 8
Looool Dr. Mercy is a Level 10 and has a shield. I couldn't even finish him when I was Level 12 (didn't try it now). Trivial my ass. Tried it at least 5 times. I guess it's much easier with a partner who can get behind him.

For being such a great game, this thread is dead. :(

Don't have time to play much and I have two characters going (L14 Co-Op Maya & L21 SP Maya) so I'm still not through with my first play through. I got a legendary drop at Level 8; it's a "Consummate Hellfire SMG" and while the stats on it are not amazing, the combination of effects (catching those close on fire) with the damage and high speed of fire make it an incredible gun. Still my primary weapon, 13 levels later.

Since then haven't got any more legendary drops on either character.

Haven't decided if I'm going back to Zero after this or doing TVHM solo as Maya (game+); hoping to be done with campaign this week.

How do you get legendary weapons?!?

I've entered 'The Fridge' and all the enemies in there are barely even affected by my best weapons... :(. I'm stuck at the part where you have to fight the big worm thing that burrows into the ground and then pops out and attacks you. Oh yeah, and his shield regenerates itself too ffs...

The next part is going to be much harder :P

Look if you can try to get the Hyperion robots to attack the monster, should definitely help a bit. Otherwise try to slag the worm should help.

After this mission you'll get a LOAD (15 or so) side quests to do. But I guess as of now it's the only mission you can do.
Also I've already seen some of Marcus' shops selling purple weapons when I did that mission.

You can farm some bosses for legendary drops, if that is what you are interested in; personally I won't do that till I'm a higher level.  However my particular legendary gun came quite unexpectedly while fighting Scorch on the Enkindling quest.

Most people I've heard talk about farming for legendary drops at level 50, so that you can get the best version of that gun.

Are you at Hyperion Extraction Plant?  That Boss was @#$%!

For the record, I think that elemental guns kick ass, but I always carry a Jakobs revolver and sniper either on me or in my pack.  While they obviously don't have any effects to them, they typically have the highest damage per shot, and aren't nerfed on any enemy (they aren't particularly strong against any enemy either though).

Finally killed that big worm thing (AFTER 20+ TRIES!!). Still haven't found any legendary weapons, but I'm not gonna farm them, I'm just gonna wait and get them when I get them

Oh yeah, on YouTube they said that if you tip Moxxxi she gives you a legendary Maliwan fire smg...but I tipped her and got nothing. What gives?!

i'm going to start borderlands (the first one) tonight! ..is that off topic?
