crazzyman will you do a ps2 2002 sales numbers vs ps3 09 numbers when the time comes? despite this one didnt turn out how you imagined it, it served up some healthy debate and examination.

I sure hope by then he has seen that he compared the wrong years.... PS3 2009 would be better compared with PS2 2003.... this would actually work in Crazzys favour as PS2 2003 was smaller than PS2 2002.

Of course despite Crazzy giving the PS3 advantage, it still seems to be losing out hugely to the PS2:

I'm sure if there wasn't an economic crisis and the exchange rate was different , this thread wouldn't look as bad as it is now

The PS2 shortages at the start of 2001 should make up for that.

Yes PS2 only had 1 year above 20 million.
