Ths. It was was quality dumb fun. Saw it with a couple of colegues, and it was a decent watch

So saw the movie today and i must say everything i expectet i got. In some terms its the best resident evil movie.

The positives
- The set pieces, imagine they did that with a budget of 65 m, I know many movies witch have a budget over 100 m and look cheap against resident evil 5)
- new Charakters ( Ada, Leon, Barry) are all nice to see and Leon and Barry have a big part of the movie
- no slow downs, 90 mins full of entertainment
- the Axt guy scene was really amazing
- the car chace scene was also great
- the overall look is awesome, lot of slow motion, blood and gore and naked skin- i like it
- the ending was awesome and give us a view what we can expect in part 6
- great one liners

the bad things
-too much unspectacular shoot outs
- the cameos are nice to see but they are very short and doesnt make the movie any better
- the end fight is to much over the top

Overall i have enjoyed Resident Evil 5 a lot. I think its on par with part 3 which i have liked the most.

Edit: I just finished watching the movie, and it's so bad. This is the hardest franchise rape I have ever seen. If I would care for the Resident Evil universe like I did 10 years ago, I would be really insulted by this^^ But now I'm just laughing my ass off.

Did they even explain why Wesker is still alive? He's just there.

No, I only saw the 1st movie and I was done after that. Pure bullshit.
