just pre-ordered mine at bestbuy.com , the wii u deluxe bundle

Well, considering the WiiU is the first salvo in the next gen battle and no competitors are out yet, they can afford to limit the quantity, make the WiiU a hotly demanded item over the holiday season, and ride the buzz into next year.

i went to preorder deluxe edition from Gamestop like 2 hours ago and they said they were sold out. Luckily I just got one off of Bestbuy.com...yay yay!!!!!

Preordered mine from Gamestop yesterday and another from Best Buy today to sell on ebay before Xmas to make my $ back.  Both deluxe SKUs.  :)

It's still available online from various retailers: Gamestop, Best Buy, Target, Kmart (deluxe only). Walmart, however, have already started their bundling bullshit.

I would laugh so hard if they only shipped 5k units of the more expensive bundle. :P With no numbers behind this, it really doesn't mean tooooo much. Looks like I'll be missing out on the first shipment though. At this point I suppose I'll just wait a few months to see how things go for the console.

Gamestop online still has the Basic SKU available, but is sold out of the Deluxe.  You can add it to your cart, but when you try to confirm your purchase at the end it tells you your cart is empty as the item is unavailable.

It's there a chance I can get the Deluxe version without pre-ordering it? There is a slim chance I might travel to US from November 19th to the 25th, and I really want to buy it there since it will cost me 3x in my country. 

since amazon is not selling it, I will need to buy it here... $500 console I can feel it...
