Forums - Gaming Discussion - Bayonetta 2 is NOT a WiiU exclusive and here's why!

Do we KNOW that Nintendo has the ability to keep it exclusive, or are we just guessing?
I want to believe, but I can't help remembering No More Heroes, Goldeneye 007, House of the Dead Overkill, Resident Evil 4...

? not even close, it's at least 10 times smaller

maybe FF13Versus (likely) going multiplat at TGS could mirror that one in size, but on the other hand that game is so late people might just not care as much anymore

Which is odd considering the sales gap.  Feel like half the people upset probably never even played the game.

Those games sure did sell well for those HD system didn't they. Also, I am still waiting for Muramasa HD, LKS HD, ArcRise Fantasia HD, and Boy and his Blob HD which probably won't see the light of day on last gen HD systems.

Since this game wouldn't exist without Nintendo's money that funds the development, it's pretty safe to say that it will stay exclusive.

That's what I mean, do we know for a fact that Nintendo is funding the development?

How are you people so close minded? On way hand, it's down right absurd how much rage there is over this but on the other hand, it makes sense that people are upset about this. Granted overreactions aside, how can you bash people who are just upset over it? It comes down to common sense, they have reason to be. The original game was on two different systems and neither of them will get to the sequel. Some people just prefer PlayStation or even xbox so clearly they don't intend on getting a Nintendo console so it makes sense as to why people are upset it's not on their preferred console.

On the other side, Nintendo most likely saved a sequel from ever happening and for that there should be appreciation, even if you don't intend to ever play it. Would you rather the franchise die off with so much potential or it stay alive in any way? If you have any real respect you for the series you should have an open mind, you may be upset but again, wouldn't you rather it be saved and find life any where?

What I don't get is why Nintendo is publishing this. This is easily the most hardcore game they have published and they could have started to go after the hardcore gamer long ago, so why now?

Its sounds weird, but I miss the days when consoles had very distinct exclusive line-ups. I'd always end up getting all of them across the period for which the generation lasted (5-6 years)

Its gonna be exciting to see how a AAA 3rd party exclusive built from the ground up for the Wii U will look.

You could always just buy a Wii U. Just sayin'. You can even slap a Sony or Microsoft sticker over the Wii U logo if you so choose to.
