I still think they were too shallow about Miiverse/User interfase/Nintendo Network. For example, i'd expected to know at least a little bit about accomplishments.

Are Wii U games going to have light blue boxes? I like!

I give it a 7/10

First of all, the price is perfect IMO, I was very happy about that, and NintendoLand looks really, really cool. It looks like a good game which would get new gamers into Nintendo Brands, and I'm happy for that as games like Pikmin and Metroid deserve more sales.

However they didn't confirm launch titles, or confirm which games would release in 2012, but they gave a list of games releasing in a "launch window." I didn't like that because now I don't know if Pikmin 3 will be a launch title.

Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101 were really cool, and I'm happy that Black Ops 2 was announced for Wii U, but I think this was a very late announcement for something as big as Call of Duty. Sales will not be big, and what about other major 3rd party releases? What about Resident Evil 6? What about Skyrim (They could have released an ultimate edition for Wii U)?

Also no new 1st party game was announced, which really annoyed me. Wii, Gamecube, and the 3DS realeased with close to a dozen 1st party titles announced, and with screenshots. Wii U has a dozen games published by Nintendo, but only a handful developed by Nintendo. I was really hoping to learn about Retro Studios next game, or Smash Bros.

So this press conference actually threw me off getting a Wii U anytime soon. Why buy a Wii U now when there are only a couple games I am interested releasing any time soon, and nothing, except Bayonetta 2, announced for 2013. I will get a Wii U, probably before any other next gen system, but if Sony blows me away with their next gen console unveil then maybe not.

CoD and MH are good pickups but not system sellers, launch lineup looks thin otherwise

As much as I don't like CoD, this statement is bizarre. CoD is the epitome of a system seller. It's pretty much the highest selling franchise every year, has huge social aspects that friends buy a console for just to play with their friends, and is one of the most relevant franchises that exists in today's market.

Whether or not it can make a huge impact on the Wii U given that it's just a direct port and Nintendo hasn't built a strong community, the game IS what you'd call a system seller.

I have a question - is Pikmin 3 still a launch title (or launch "window)?

I give it 11. 3 points go to the butthurts from B2.

9.5 from me, Bayonetta 2 meltdown is comedy gold

I really enjoyed it so I'll have to rate it a 9/10. It was definitely better than E3.

You Americans are lucky with the tv thing, I'm jealous wish we would get something like that
