Oh dear... I hope not. Avatar looked so horrible and fake and way worse than Gears of War and Uncharted.

Well we know they'll have 10 GB RAM, absolute minimum, so it's quite possible

On the potential of PS2 (yes, PS2): "You can communicate to a new cybercity... This will be the ideal home server. Did you see the movie The Matrix? Same interface. Same concept. Starting from next year, you can jack into The Matrix!"

another one:
"Beating us for a short moment is like accidentally winning a point from a Shihan [karate master], and Microsoft is still not a black belt."
ROFL, pathetic
This gen, Ratchet games approached Toy Story level of visuals. Not quite there but what we got looked amazing. Seeing what some games like Rage, Killzone, Uncharted and God of War have accomplished, I wouldn't be surprised if the average PS4 game next gen in it's 3rd year looked better than what PC players are expecting of Crysis 3.

Are you joking? I thought the current rumors were around 4 GB of RAM.
Or am I being thick and not understanding your sarcasm again? If so, sorry.

A reference, of sorts, recently (before i banned him for sig length violations, again...) Argh_College declared that Wii U having 2 GB meant Orburango (a term Andrespetmonkey coined that i am now appropriating as my own) would have 8 GB.

No, instead, across all forms of digital and cinematic media the benchmark is now James Cameron's 2009 live-action/animated blue-people movie, Avatar. With that said, AMD has already mentioned that the next gen Xbox could produce Avatar-like graphics and the co-founder of Geomerics has followed in AMD's footsteps claiming that lighting capabilities could hit that benchmark as well. |
1 year later. This kind of statements by industry professionals are just gold lol.
No. Just no.
Avatar ran on 17,500 more RAM than PS4/Xbone have.
