I never understood how someone can not love dogs. They're this planet's best creatures by far.

Honestly, whenever someone says he prefers cats over dogs I ask myself the question if that person might have antisocial issues of some form. Call it being prejudiced, but that's the truth.

I dont care for either animal but I would say in my opinion(derived from experience) that most "dog people"(by no means all but a good percentage of dog owners) have issues. I generally think cats are there for visual asthetic, they are visually pleasing to people. I havent met a "cat person" as all people I have met with cats are pretty level(which does not mean they arent crazy on the inside.). Dogs have been systematically bred to be giant asskissers and I feel most "dog people" have a social void that they fill with the dog. I have met a number of people I classify as dog people(mostly singles or couples without children) and all of them are literally crazy.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I disagree on both ends, I believe these are better.

Yes, but that's normal. You are supposed to have a void inside you that craves love and attention. That's being a human.

And very few things in this world are better at filling that void than dogs.

until they take a shit on your head

IMPOSSIBLE!

If I cover myself in blankets and pillows and any assorted stuff I might find, and then yell help, my dog will come and dig until I'm free.

When was the last time your cat did anything that could one day be useful?

Women definitely crave attention, and at most times love but as a single man I dont have that void. If it was normal everyone would say dogs are better than cats. Maybe it is normal but some people realise that dogs are artifically filling that void.

Nope. Cats are emotionless parasites. They aren't social animals by nature, so they don't really form social bonds with people; as far as they are concerned you're just a mobile part of their environment that feeds them.

Dogs, as pack animals, do form social bonds.

Your dog likes you. Your cat just likes your house.

^ Sums it up.

You are right. I definitely agree that it could be seen as an artificial filling of that void (but then what is not artficial in a sense? That's another topic).

Where I used the words "antisocial" I could just as well described it as not having that social void. Actually I prefer your term, to attribute a social void to dog people rather than think of cat people as "anti" something.

are you seroius?

that's maybe a little bit harsh but i think there is truth in it. i have a cat and i really like cats but i think many people who own a cat see something which isn't there between them and their cat. many believe the cat has a deep relationship to them and don't realize that as example when i'm in their house, get the same attention from their cat if i want to. sure she trusts someone she really knows more than someone she doesn't know but i donÄt believe a cat really cares about you.

if you die, i don't believe a cat will sit on your bed and will mourn your death as long as she knows there will be someone else to feed her. if a dog will see your dead body and will realize you are dead, he will cry a lot. if a dog will see you have problems, he will try to help you.

you know what a cat will do seeing you are dying? i say a cat will not even try to help you most of the time even with her intelligence.

1st paragraph kind of BS, but I would prefer not to go into detail.

2nd and 3rd paragraph, honestly when I am sad my cat would notice from across the room and try to cheer me up, while my dog would just keep on laying on the floor.

I like cats more then dogs. But I like both them a lot. Pretty much like all animals :).

Also it depends on the dog/cat of course. Most people who have cats have regular domestic cats, while people with dogs could have chihuaua or great pyrenees etc.

My cat hunts the rats in my neighbourhood. Could it one day be useful? Sure, it keeps their numbers down.
