My neighbor's dog doesn't let me sleep so I hate dogs :P

Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?

Nope. Cats are emotionless parasites. They aren't social animals by nature, so they don't really form social bonds with people; as far as they are concerned you're just a mobile part of their environment that feeds them.

Dogs, as pack animals, do form social bonds.

Your dog likes you. Your cat just likes your house.

^ that's false. There's actually a number of people who are incapable of compreehending teh Kat. You need to proceed slowly, carefully to get teh Kat. They are sensitive souls. Once the Kat's heart is open to you, it will valiantly and loyally follow you as a leader and do lots of cool stuff like bringing critters it hunt to you.

When are we going to recognize the massive crime we commited towards canines? Wolves were fierce, independent, proud critters, and we bred them down to chihuauhas and other races who ressemble fetal wolves in appearance and are completely subservient towards us. Are we just control freaks? Do lots of people dislike cats because they didn't bow the same way?

I like cats. They are cute and they aren't noisy. Poor wolves, in the other hand.

Cats, indeed. Word.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

Cats are fundamentally useless creatures. Dogs are like the pet equivalent of Apps. If you have a problem you can usually find a dog for that. What can I say Dogs know what it is to work for a living, and most cats are deadbeats. No offense to the cats out there that actually know how to mouse. What can I say dogs serve in the military, they help the disabled, they combat criminals, and they rescue people in distress.

Dogs are saints, heroes, soldiers, and saviors. By the way dogs can be cute too. What does a cat have that a dog doesn't. That is right absolutely nothing. What does a dog have that a cat doesn't. Well just about everything you could ever want.

Who ever says cats don't have emotions and don't bond with people have clearly never owned a cat in their life. Take it from a cat owner for 20 years. My cats have been VERY friendly, at least to me, my immediate family, and frequent visitors we have. It's just they like their independence and alone time more than dogs, and are much more apprehensive to opening up to outsiders. Which I can respect because I am largely the same way. But my cat will still greet me almost every morning when I walk downstairs, plays with me, and often sit by me wherever I go in the house.

It's like Jack from Meet the Parents says, cats just make you work for their affection, they don't sell out the way dogs do :P. And contrary to popular belief, they most certainly can be protective of their human companions like dogs, it's just they tend to lack the stature and intimidation factor that many dogs possess that allows them to actually be threatening, but the point is the mentality is still there. My old cat actually brought a dead bird to us once, I guess assuming she was looking out for us and bringing us dinner. Of course we had better dinner plans that night but that's not the point lol. Our current cat hisses and often acts hostile at guests whenever we have them, as he feels the need to protect us and his territory.

Also, being much more independent than dogs, they are much easier to deal with as pets. They don't whine and make a ton of noise every time they want something or when a neighbor passes by, don't need to be walked and taken outside every time they need to do their "business," and don't need constant stimulation. Cats are dogs without the annoyance and the hassle. Dogs may be more "useful" creatures, well assuming you're blind or a cop, but as pets, cats win no contest :P

Cats are stinky, stupid, rude, unfriendly, assholes that should ground into mulch.

Long live dog dominance!!!!
