Brightness is all the way up! Man... maybe there's something wrong with mine? It seems really dim outside, like barely visible.

It's probably not your Vita, LadyUmbra just made a comment about it in the Official Vita thread, but I'm still pretty sure you are better off with a Vita that any other system unless the PSP 3000 is remarkably bright. That OLED screen is great. I guess I am not the best person to judge outside use since it is way too hot in Texas to even think about playing outside.....I need to move back north.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I think you need to be serious in order to understand what I'm trying to say.

It is sad how much hate the Vita gets.

Truly a sad industry.

This not hate, it is realism. If you see how many Vitas where sold and the declining interest in this product. I give it 2 more years until it wont be stocked in the most retail stores.

Funny, what this proves to me is that if the Vita gets a blockbuster release EVERY WEEK, it might manage to be a modest success not unlike the PSP.

VITA will be awesome come TGS.

This really reminds me of the N64/GCN in Japan, lol, where occasionally they would get a big bump and Nintendo fans would claim momentum was coming back in their favour. Which obviously never happened. It's interesting to see Sony now in that position. How the mighty have fallen. What's particularily funny is SEGA being cast as the one to "save" a floundering Sony platform, lol (the PSOne must be rolling around in its grave somewhere).

Also seeing no other Vita games get a bump into the top 30 indicates in Japan a lot of people probably bought the system/game with the intent of selling it back once they're done with the one game (this happens a lot over there).

The fact is if I'm a Japanese publisher and I'm looking at this market, the 3DS still has a way bigger userbase and is cheaper to develop for and can do reasonably decent 3D graphics. Where's the appeal in Vita? The Sega developers apparently are not happy with these sales because the development cost was high, which really indicates a weakness of the platform.

I don't think Monster Hunter is going anywhere until at least Monster Hunter 4 has come out and already moved the remaining MH audience over to the 3DS. People need to stop looking at MH at some shining horse for the Vita, Capcom has no obligation to help Sony out when they can't sell their own system.

I really hope the Vita can make some money an will turn out to be a huge success. But this is a probable as as me having sex with Cate Blanchett.

Well, to put into perspective... Seaman on the dreamcast sold 500k

Like I said, it's a start. But hardly an end.
