It's a joke, relating to an epic thread of yore regarding that matchup.

You can make a good argument that Master Chief is a bigger bad-ass than Samus and a better soldier and in many ways more terrifying, but Samus doesn't even operate according to the same laws of physics.

All of her powers are extremely radical and videogame-rooted.

Master Chief's own power armor is relatively hard sci-fi.

It's very difficult for hard sci-fi to win out over video game lunacy. Samus would win this fight.

samus would win, even in her zero suit.

Not saying Chief wouldn't win, but a lot of people don't seem to understand Samus is also super human without the suit.  Besides the warrior training and all that, she was infused with Chozo blood at a young age, making her a legit meta-human... it's part of the reason only she can use her power suit.  She is faster, stronger, more agile and has better endurance then your average human.  Not sure if it was ever followed up too much in the manga (never read it) so I don't know how enhanced she really is though.

That actually goes for Spartans as well. Even without their armors.

I know, I was just saying that she isn't outclassed without the armor, but probably in the same league.  Think a lot of people figure she is a normal human under there.

True, I actually didn't know that stuff about her myself :P
