That ban on Pezus is a little overboard. Im sorry but you guys need to chill out with that rule. Ive said it before but i dont believe youre going to have people siding with you all when you all are just banning people for simple reasons like that. People are going to disagree with you all and you all should be capable of taking criticism by actually listening to your community. And yes people are going to want to talk with each other about your all's moderating to see if we agree with one another. You all are basically taking people's freedom of speech away and sending them to this thread that is hardly active (165 viewers in the last 24 hours).

The community can give us constructive criticism here, in the Monthly Ban Report threads and by pm. They can take it to a wall post to the moderator in question and/or, in certain cases, can discuss it away from the site all together. The community can talk together about moderation here, or in pm. Certain groups of users have chatrooms away from the site where they discuss things.

What we dont need or want is threads being dragged off topic with discussion about specific moderators, specific moderations or the moderation in general. The thread is hardly active because people choose to ignore it and post problems/ concerns in places where they arent supposed to. You dont need to discuss other members moderations with the community... You need to discuss them with the mod team.

With the specific pezus problem, he was warned multiple times in that thread by Conegamer. He ignored that warning, even going as far as completely removing it from the post he actually quoted. pezus was given more than enough chance. He was given fair warning... Yet he ignored it.

We've discussed this, but its hardly active because of where it is located, and it will continue that way while you all ignore that. There would be a huge difference if stickies were ont he front page, but well that just isnt the case.

I simply refuse to believe that the majority of users use the VGC main page for looking in the forum rather than using the Forums page for looking in the forum.

Weird, since theyre hot topics for a reason.

From my experience  (1017 thread) when something drops off the hot topics page that thread is on the verge of dieing unless a debate is going on.

Common sense will tell you that more people visits the front page of VGC more than the forums page.   There is a reasons forums often times makes stickies right on the front page front and center.

Common sense would tell me that people wanting to browse the forums would click the "Forums" tab at the top of the page.

"So I wonder what all the misinformed, undereducated, sycophantic "Sony Supporters" have to say now?

I'm sure they have all kinds of bullshit excuses for them even in this case. And I'm sure if I actually bothered depressing myself by scrolling through all these recent responses, I'd see some."

A post I reported multiple times in September.... Guess what post didn't get moderated and deemed okay by the mods.

This was the post that got me to PM Kantor in the first place. A post Kantor didn't respond to. I assume he thinks it's appropriate

But hey, they are consistent... right?

They have hot topics for that ;)  You can defend the poor design all you want, in the end more people are visiting the front page.

Im not defending the design of the site. Im assuming that people who actively want to browse the forums will click on the Forums tab to view the forums.

I stick with hot topics and my forums tab. I think most people stick to front page.

If you want to make any kind of point, a link to the post in question would be great.

Direct copy and paste. Kantor got the link. The mods got the multiple reports. Kantor must have gotten the link since he responded to the other post I complained about yet ignored that one above. I directly copy and pasted Tor calling peoples posts stupid and idiotic and my post saying someone had a terrible post.
