Forums - General Discussion - What Fictional World would you choose to live in, and why?

I WANNA TO BE THE VERY BEST
LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS
TO CATCH THEM IS MY REAL TEST
TO TRAIN THEM IS MY CAUSE

I WILL TRAVEL ACROSS THE LAND
SEARCHING FAR AND WIDE
FOR EACH POKÉMON TO UNDERSTAND
THE POWER THAT'S INSIDE

POKÉMON!!!

...

With that said, Halo got my vote. Sure, it's a very dangerous world, and unless you live on Earth your planet may actually be destroyed during your lifetime. But I like to take risks. Living in some sort of rainbow land with nothing but happiness would get boring after a while, given how everything is relative and all. Also, it's the year 2500-ish (well, actually it could be any year, but the time from Halo Wars to Halo 3 is 2532-2553), meaning that we would have some awesome technology and minimum poverty.

~~~~ Mario Kart 8 drove far past my expectations! Never again will I doubt the wheels of a Monster Franchise! :0 ~~~~
I'm so going for Harry Potter.
I would materialize a different girl everyday that would look pornstar like level. No less.
Also, wave your wand to get beer from the fridge to your hand ?? SOLD
Turning into a hawk to go on a "walk" around the city ?
Best world to live.
And I would totally be friends with voldemort, the dude is cool.
Star Wars, i would say. Assuming that you would be an average person in any of the worlds you went to, Star Wars has more of the cool stuff accessible to the average person, and aside from the Death Star (or in Expanded Universe, the Sun Crusher) it's pretty easy to see trouble coming your way in the Star Wars universe, and even great catastrophes like the triumph of the Empire leave the life of the average man unaffected
in short: you get most of the benefit with minimal risk.
I dunno.  I mean, I'd say Star Trek has more cooler stuff acessiable to the average person... I mean, what if you get stuck on Tatoonie or Yarven or something.
Federation planets though?   Freaking communist utopias.   Holodecks, replicators etc...
Star Trek planets don't get messed with thaaat much.
Though, I picked pokemon, becuase really it's all benefit... no risk.
I was thinking of that, but then Star Trek has all too many instances of "this spacial anomaly causes you to mutate/go crazy/will trap you in an endless groundhog day loop" something Star Wars lacks. Plus Star Wars lacks the Borg.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Middle Earth sucks like hell for pretty much everyone, except maybe the Dwarves. The Hobbits are shown to be painfully dull, humans generally have it worse off than humans in the real world (unless you live in Numenor), the Elves' immortality is shown to be a long-term burden (even if you're basically a low-grade superhero in the short term) and the Ents had all the women in their species die out. With the Dwarves you get very few women (and the women who do exist often choose to stay single for various reasons), but you live longer and better than most Men, and as long as you don't get Dragons or Balrogs, things are generally pretty cool.
Living in the Touhou universe would be pretty cool actually. The place is filled with pretty girls and it would be awsome to get drunk with Marisa.
I'd love to live in Haruhi Suzumiya's world, join the SOS Brigade and experience all kinds of logic breaking stuff.
Edit:
Living in the Queen's Blade universe would probably be lovely.
Harry Potter, definitely. It would be awesome.
Harry potter would be awesome!
definetly Pokémon. I mean those poor creatures need somebody to fight for their rights. I mean we are forcing them to fight each other until the total exhaustion or they get injured or they die.
This has to stop Pokémon have feelings. Stop the violence!
