Forums - General Discussion - What Fictional World would you choose to live in, and why?

I would choose either Pokemon or Avatar. because they would be awesome.

Star Wars, i would say. Assuming that you would be an average person in any of the worlds you went to, Star Wars has more of the cool stuff accessible to the average person, and aside from the Death Star (or in Expanded Universe, the Sun Crusher) it's pretty easy to see trouble coming your way in the Star Wars universe, and even great catastrophes like the triumph of the Empire leave the life of the average man unaffected

in short: you get most of the benefit with minimal risk.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Digimon would be cool. Although I might be a bit to old to get a Digimon. Damn kids get to have all the fun.

Tough call--either Pokemon (childhood fantasy of mine) or a postapocalyptic world like Fallout or The Walking Dead. Living in a world like that, where survival is the name of the game, would force us to put our childish concerns aside and focus on what's really important.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I guess we are to assume we have to be an average person in those said worlds? If that is the case then the choice is easy for me, Pokemon. Nothing else really comes close. Being able to raise and battle your own Pokemon and that's pretty much it. You don't need a job because you get money for winning battles.

If I could be some sort of bender I might pick Avatar, but their technology is very primitive compared to Pokemon.

DBZ would be a terrible world to live in. Constantly having the world blown up and dying, not being able to do anything with the main characters, etc. Sure the technology is great, but at what cost?

Star Wars would probably be my 2nd choice. They have some of the most advanced technology and you could find a lightsaber somewhere. That alone could be worth it.

My Little Pony would be a wonderful place to live, but a human would stick out like a sore thumb there. :/

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

Star Wars, probably. Maxed out technology and the Force? Sign me in. Ivalice from Final Fantasy would be awesome too. My favorite high-magic world.

Harry Potter or Pokémon... maybe.

Definitely not the crapsack worlds like Fallout, Dragon Ball or Half-Life. Silent Hill would also be disturbing, just as bad as the SCP universe or the like. Sometimes absence of magic is way better than magic.

The world of Metroid, so I can stalk Samus.

Honestly I have no idea, I'm amazed you guys actually can think about it and pick so easily.

Naruto. I would totally marry with a kunoichi and have ninja sex.

Narnia, Zelda, or Pokemon.

Narnia is absolutely an amazing universe to live in, if you've read the books you know exactly what I mean. And as a bonus, you could live an entire lifetime in Narnia, then come back to the real world and almost no time's gone by at all! Hell yes. Only problem is you can only go to Narnia three times before your turn is up.

Zelda has all sorts of amazing things, especially during the times of peace after Link has done away with the evil. Have you beaten Ocarina? Do you remember the happiness and celebration after that? The world was good. Gimme some of Link's badass tools and some transformation masks and I'm good for life.

Pokemon is awesome because, let's face it, if a 10-year-old can get by OK on his own and have totally badass pets along the way, that's definitely a world for me.

Runners up: Star Trek, Harry Potter, Star Wars.
