Ya gotta love Square (or hate them)... they continue to punt the two games that fans clamor the most for, KHIII and FF Vs XIII, farther and farther into the future, and instead keep giving them games they don't want and don't ask for like another sequel to XIII and a redo of the debacle that was XIV.

Spoiler: the next big Square-Enix announcement will be the "long-awaited" sequel to The Bouncer lol.

I hope they make/announce a new Mana game, they are long overdue with that series and no I dont want another "Dawn of Mana" , that game was garbage. I want another Secret of Mana or a Legend of Mana D:

I dunno man.  Although I was never the biggest fan of Square and Enix's stuff, for me it seems as though they are going down the same road that companies like Rare have gone, with their best years behind them.  Of course, Square is nowhere near in the position that Rare is today, but you get the idea.  There used to be a time where everyone went bonkers when Square announced a new game, especially a FF game, but now it seems like it's "ho hum, yet another FF".  A true KHIII or a pseudo-retro sequel to classics like Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana are pretty much the only things Square could announce that would get me excited again.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

That company is runed by a bunch of retards.

damn they are fucking stupid , poor nomura getting fucked over and over. they dont have respect for hi or something?

Dont put Nomura on a pedestal, he's a glorified character desginer (albiet a great one). Its the very reason FF is all style and no substance. Someone else needs to be directing the FF franchise.

Square Enix has truly solidified themselves as Japanese Capcom of RPG's. They don't need DLC or upgraded editions of their games to screw their fans though. Their wannabe western milking business model is kicking in just like Capcom. The smartest thing any reasonable Final Fantasy fan can do is follow Sakaguchi by buying Lost Odyssey and the Last Story. Final Fantasy died in spirit when he left.

Gonna have to disagree at least the Capcom games(fighters at least) are ENJOYABLE a hell of alot more than the FF series of late, actually the only ones was dissapointed with was 13 and to a lesser extent 14

Ima say it and maybe I'm going to be hated for it but, Versus will not appear on this generation console. It will be postponed and then published on the PS4 for enhanced graphics. They are using the Luminous engine for some sequences and I think SE will shift to having the game run on the Luminous Engine as a whole. Since Luminous asks too much Ram and that the PS3 cannot handle it, it will be announced for the PS4 as a release title. I hope I am wrong :s

Capcom has been screwing us all since childhood, duping us into buying three versions of Street Fighter during childhood. Capcom screwed the Street Fighter and MVC fans plain and simple. Cutting off DLC and forcing them to fork out about forty dollars for 3-4 more characters than they already had in a new expanded game is highway robbery. Square Enix never stopped listening to their fanbase until this generation.

im debating you there, but i still hold Capcom a little higher than SE this gen, because they are screwing around but at the very least the fighting games themselves are quality, cant really say the same for the FF games this gen, at least not all of them

This game needs to be cancelled officially, along with this new third POS FF13 project. Talk about milking a series because a company lost all of their inspiration and can't be caught dead innovating anymore. What a crappy developer they've become. Also while they are at it, they can cancel all of that is FF14. Then they can go in a room for 500 hours straight playing FF4-10 and then released to make a new FF game. If anyone even talks about any other games prior to that, they will be hung from their corporate building as a warning to all employees. They are held to a strict standard to forget all that is FF13, so much so they can't even have a spell called Lightning anymore; Will have to be Thunder. Nor can it be said out loud, which is again, punishable by the gift of a noose.

Don't know why these idiots can't even make a decent game anymore, let alone make one in a decent time frame. People suggest that Square always took forever, but at their prime, their games released every 1 1/2 years. 6+ years for a game that probably will be utter shit is unacceptable. Why my confidence of pure garbage from this project? Well because everything they have done in the last 10 years has been nothing but that.

Thank God that Kojima isn't as incompetent as these idiots. RIP FF. Versus13 once had all the promise in the world, but now I want a swift death from it. The game tires me. There idiocy is shown because the game is supposed to be out already. No one shows a trailer 6 years before a games to be released.

On to good news from Japan.. I can't wait till MGS:Ground Zeroes comes out! Looks so good.. Looks better than v13 ever did graphically and it will be out before it! AND OMG, we actually seen gameplay!

SE has lost the Japanese flavor that made them great. Whats great about SE today is purely western (which Capcom has been turning into as well). I could rant about SquareEnix not being able to fill the shoes of Squaresoft in quality, but thats another story. The point is SE doesn't have the balls to pull the plug on the game. They could just spare us all the heartache but they wont. Capcom has never had a title that had the weight of a console on it either.

if they dont have a full showing at tgs im absolutely convinced it is going to be a ps4/720 launch or close to launch title. there's simply no other explanation for the comments he makes like i cant talk about it now please be patient. its gotta be moved to next gen.
