I think many people here are young and don't buy blurays, if they buy movies at all, probably dvds. Not dissing anyone though.

You're probably right. I started collecting when I was about 24, a good paying steady job is required if you want to go the home theater route. I managed to get my hands on a 2nd hand CRT projector, bought a laserdisc player and started collecting movies.
Before that I always rented lots of movies but somehow I never saw VHS tapes worth collecting. Probably because of years of seeing the sorry state rental tapes were in and my VHS player occasionally eating my own tapes as well.

Rental is dead nowadays but I do also use Netflix or pay on demand. Though for visually stunning movies, movies with a great surround track, or simply movies that I can watch again any time blu-ray is the only option.

0 though I often borrow them from a friend and watch them on my PS3. I watch a lot of movies but don't really feel like buying them and growing a collection because I have limited income and I don't want to buy a format that will be outdated in a few years. I imagine when I'm older and have money I will collect so many films.

Right now I collect books though.

I forget the name of it, but those "Earth" Videos, they had when the Blu-ray was pretty new.  My Aunt owned them and lent them to me.   That and a few random rented movies from blockbuster/redbox.
