I don't even have that many DVDs... Just bought Fifth Element, Cloverfield and District 9 DVDs 2nd hand for £4 which brings my DVD disc total to about 50, but almost half of those are extra feature discs (e.g I have a Matrix collection with 10 discs, but only 4 of them interest me)

I didn't know the first Matrix movie spanned four discs!!!

I don't even own a bluray player. I use Netflix and Redbox (along with Hulu but not really using it that much right now due to Daily Show and Colbert Report being on a break) combo for my movie / tv watching needs. I don't even have cable due to it being overpriced and full of commercials.

That is so nice! Ghibli blurays are region free right?

Only the Japan release is for all regions...hence the ridiculous prices....

I guess 2 box sets. Planet Earth and Life by BBC. I don't see point of collecting too many of these.  I very much like these high quality nature documentaries. So beautiful.

Have a few VHS and now they are almost useless.

I own one Blu-ray, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and I have no idea when or where or why I got it.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

I think many people here are young and don't buy blurays, if they buy movies at all, probably dvds. Not dissing anyone though.

I personally have never owned a single Blu-ray, DVD, or VHS. I'm kind of thinking that I never will either. I see no reason for it.

I'm 25... I just don't care enough about pixel resolution to replace all my electronics.
