It doesn't matter when the game released if I search for it I get taken to the VGC sales database, which doesn't have anywhere to "add game" to my collection.

Go to "My Games" and then you can search the database for a game. Most recent games can't be added to "My games" but you can add them to "Wishlist" or "Tracked".

I believe once they are in your wishlist you can 'add' them to your collection.   I did that recently with Project Zero II:Wii Edition and Lego Batman 2 (Wii) but neither has any box art. :(

idk, maybe I did do it through 'my games' and its search feature. Sorry for the confusion. :/

But Journey Collector's Edition isn't even in the database! >:(

I want to add Lego Lord of the Rings to my wishlist but it isn't in the database either.
Disappointing as having my actual game list and wishlist were a favorite feature of mine.

Actually much of the features I loved on this site have been removed (to general public at least). The forum is the only reason I come back now.

I never even noticed the new search thing in "my games"

but yeah it will still work through the VGC database, which doesn't let normal users add games anymore so there are probably a lot (if not all) of 2012 games you can't add

I can't add Resident Evil (GC) to my games list, I use the search function but only 5 results come up and they're all newer Resident Evil games, I can't make my search any more precise.

Kind of stupid of them to remove this feature. I loved to add my games and manage my collection.
