Yeah it will flop but with some massive bundling I'm sure it will turn out some good numbers. I mean this game just screams bundle.

with psn+ heading towards the vita this game might not get bundled but it'll hopefully appear on the line of games going into the instant game collection that you'll get for your vita with psn+ probably not for at least a few months after launch but it would be a damn nice way to welcome someone to portable playstation gaming, a free fighting game with tons of PS history in it.

Edit - You gotta remember with a psv game that a lot of people will be planning to get this from the psn store on launch as such no real pre ordering needed for it.

from that they say a service similar to on the ps3 and on there we got LBP2, infamous 2 and deux ex for the past 2 months along with a ton of other really good full retail games, sure there are a load of psn games included too but it would not be a similar service if they don't give a few full games with the instant game collection part of psn+ for vita. It's not like it's bad for them to give games out like that, when you get the files they got a timer on them til your psn+ would run out so you do get them for free, but to keep them you need to keep paying or else go to the store and pick up a copy. psn+'s game collection is good for the vita and it's good for the games ingeneral to ring up some interest in some missed launch games maybe

Well that's nice then! Thought it would just be psn games.

well it could be, nothing is set in stone yet, but I'd expect to see hot shots golf and probably wipeout appearing on here when it rolls in during November.

Let me explain to you again. My original argument was I don't believe core audiences in the west care about handheld consoles. The list I posted is a fine example of how core sales declined on the PSP.

Forget MH and GTA. I'm more concerned that few handheld core games can achieve a million nowadays.

Let me explain again, whether you think Mario is core or not is irrelevant. Mario is core to many of us, so wrong and incorrect, core titles to sell well on handhelds.

Oh! I see what you're doing. You're saying as long as some core games do well my argument doesen't hold water.

Now this begs the question... why the fuck are you bothering me? I'm not denying a few core games still do well. I'm aruging most core games on handheld platforms are struggling.

You have no proof of that because this gen has just got started lol. Wow really the comparison of lifetime sells of PSP games is all you got? Comparing them to what one year of sales?

In the same period of time PSP actually sold significantly more hardware therefore it was doing a better job at moving software.

I feel Vita also has a better stronger library than PSP had early on. Just more proof core games are struggling on hand held platforms. Which is bad for Vita considering its aimed at core gamers.

Final pre-order #'s:

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (PS3) - 78,814

Pretty bad tbh. Maybe it'll have good legs though like most Sony exclusives

FW sales in the USA should be ~200k-225k

Looks like I overestimated PS All Stars FW sales. Black Friday should've given it at least 200k+ FW in the US.

"PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (PS3) added 16,145 pre-orders for a grand total of 78,814. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 150,000 to 200,000 unit range."

This game is just pure fun with family and friends. A lot of good players online. #Team Drake
