Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Game thats making me enjoy Gaming again. So whats yours?.

After being burned out by Xenoblade and Rayman Origins, it's really refreshing to replay something as unique and engaging as Mother 3.

@NobleTeam360 can you please explain why Darksiders 2 was a letdown to you? I was thinking of picking it up. Thanks.

It's probably just me but the story was ver sub standard and the puzzles became repetitive after a few hours.

I'm in a slump, been this way for a while now. I didn't enjoy any of the games I've bought recently as much as I thought I would.

I'm waiting for the perfect RPG to take me away. The last great RPG I really enjoyed was Final Fantasy XIII (I got it less than a year ago so it hasn't been that long of a slump).

I've been playing Tales of Graces f for a while now but it doesn't feel that great, it's just the Wii version in 720p. I want a truly special game to dive deep into it.

If you enjoyed FFXIII, might as well get XIII-2 l0l, since XIII-3 will be announced soon.

I have it, I just can't (or rather don't want to) start it until I finish ToG. The thing is I don't really feel like finishing it right now lol

I hope it's a great game, though I heard it doesn't feature Lightning that much :( I don't think it'll be special enough to make me feel the way the OP is talking about.

I just remembered a more recent game that I really enjoyed, Pokemon White. I hadn't enjoyed a Pokemon game this much since the original Gold/Silver.

The closest game I'm SURE will be a total blast to play is Fire Emblem 3DS, I've never seen a non-sprite Fire Emblem look that good.

Metal Gear Solid 3 and Resident Evil 4. I can never get bored of these two games.

Several games have done that for me. Most recently, it was Kid Icarus: Uprising. Played and replayed that game on a daily basis for about three months. Barely even touched the multiplayer thanks to my poor internet connection, but still my most played 3DS game by a significant margin. It was that good.

I still play Kid Icarus regularly, online and offline. There is so much content in the game and it's just so replayable.

Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door and Final Fantasy III (VI in Japan).

That game ironically had the opposite effect on me. I had to recover from gaming after Mother 3 in order to appreciate other games again.

Love and tolerate.

My games of timeless timelessness, in no particular order:

Super Mario 64
Sonic Adventure 2
Metroid Prime
Toe Jam & Earl
Phantasy Star Online
Super Smash Bros (whole series)
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario World
Wario Land II
Mario Tennis
Sonic 3 & Knuckles

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
