I find it hilarious how Nintendo fans are getting super angry at everything.
even nintendo itself isn't saved from your rage.
Nintendo should make a game called AngryMii , Its like angry birds but with WiiU Pad slinging onto the TV.

Something odd is going on with the community at large today. Lots of rage and unnecessary flaming

(not directed at you. I'd rather like to make peace with you, just an observation that there's been a lot of weirdness going on today).

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Holy cow! Adam Sessler has doubts about Nintendo. Why the hell would Nintendo even think about releasing a new console weeks before Christmas?

@Sal public stoning would be good, I never liked the guy. Pretty anti-Nintendo in general.

I'm often surprised by the number of "experts" in the industry who seem to have so little understanding of the industry ...

Regardless of whether the Wii U will be as successful as the Wii or not, Nintendo will likely sell everyone they manufactured this holiday season regardless of what games are released. This is assuming (of course) that Nintendo doesn't do something foolish like price it at $600. In the new year the Wii U will likely face a game drought because, as a new system, few developers were willing to risk their investment on a system without an established user base but after June or July the Wii U should start seeing regular releases of games that take advantage of its capabilities. If all goes according to Nintendo's plan the Wii U will be the must have product of holiday 2013.

Things may not go entirely according to Nintendo's plans, and their secondary objective would be to establish themselves as the default next-generation console for developers and gamers before their competition can.

2012 is a huge year for the Wii U for between 1% and 5% of the people who will ever own the system, but it is a relatively small year for the system and it will be difficult for Nintendo to do much that will screw it up

I'm waiting on Pachter. If he agrees with this then I'll know I'll be able to play the Wii U this year.

It's weird when he name games like Borderlands, AC3, Halo 4 and CoD considering that two of them (AC3 and CoD) will be released on the Wii U, also none of these games appears to women, children or oldschool gamers while games like NSMU and Wii Fit Plus do.

No, if Pachter thinks it is a bad idea for Nintendo to release in 2012 then you can be almost certain that (even with an unprecidented supply of hardware) the Wii U will be sold out and difficult to get your hands on.

*OUT OF CONTEXT*

Sessler's tweet just before that one:
"I think the Wii U will arrive this year in America and Japan at least. I can see a delay in Europe."

*HE'S TALKING ABOUT EUROPE ONLY*

While I am inclined to agree with you. .... I cannot find the Tweet.

Mike from Morgantown

That's interesting, he's since deleted that tweet.  Still, he's only talking about Europe.  And there's a decent chance he's correct. It's disheartening, though, why so many other people love creating and participating in these baseless hate-fest threads.

By the way, on the comment of being released... I am still unsure of whether Sessler escaped or was released in captivity from G4.

As soon as it's available for pre-order I'll place my order. I did the same with the Wii.
