Yeah...

This one's definitely going to cause more harm than it prevents. Campuses are usually decently secure

In a time when many are saying gun laws need to be more strict and background checks more accurate it is really strange to see these colleges totally go in the opposite direction.

Must be run by a NRA supporter.

Read it again: they tried to ban guns altogether but were shot down by the courts. So now they're just resorting to segregation.

Separate but equal!

During my time at UCCS, they were pushing just to allow students to carry concealed weapons. The few people that have concealed weapons permits are usaually well trained individuals in my experience. Hell, my friend that was pushing for this that has a the permit has been a hunter in a gun shooting family his whole life. This man is responsible and most with the permits are. He thought it would be an honor to carry one to protect people in case of a college shooting rampage. I see no problem with this. Pretty interesting to be happening at CU boulder (Colorado's biggest University and party school) and UCCS (Colorado's fastest growing and most conservative University). The only CU University not doing it appears to be CU Denver which is the one I see as needing it the most being in the inner city Denver Metro area (even though it is a nice neighborhood).

Well... I think we know which dorm isn't going to be robbed too often.

Well of course. The dorms with the guns will rob the dorms without the guns. They're damn easy targets!

:P

Another reason Canada is superior.

I went to college in Montana and we had gun racks on the first floor with a check in and out process at pretty much all the dorms, and I sure as hell didn't hear about any crazy shooting at the movies while I was there, not to mention this was a long time ago so I don't see what the big fucking deal is. Shit, we had a guy we called Juice who was from Socal(South California, LA region) who had 12 fucking guns, out of those 12, at least 3 were always on his truck, we also had a lot of Montana natives that had a shit ton of guns and are really good at trapping, who gives a fucking shit?

nice. a win for the constitution and a win for gun rights.

the campus should be much safer now.

i wish my rights weren't denied at Mizzou.

segregation is never good. especially between gun owners and non gun owners. just foolish
