You're promoting a logical fallacy there. The likelihood increases NOT by the sexuality, but by the sexual ACT that is chosen. Let me demonstrate:

Let's say that, all of a sudden, hetero men everywhere started to enjoy giving it to their women up the butt. That's still heterosexuality, right? One man and one woman. Then all of a sudden, the act of anal sex through these heterosexual acts pushes AIDS transmissions through heterosexual couples through the roof. Would that then give me the right to say that heterosexuality promotes AIDS? Of course not!

Of course, it's anal sex that increases the chance of AIDS transmission, NOT homosexuality. I know plenty of homosexual couples who never take it that far, so ironically, they're SAFER towards AIDS transmission than heterosexual couples who engage in any type of penetration.

I just want to say I'm very happy and in love with my other half and he and I are going on a weekend getaway to celebrate our first year together :) also we are hosting Christmas at our house for our family this year. It's not all doom, gloom and disownment

Homosexuality is an act between two CONSENTING adults. You might not like it, but some do, and they're not hurting you in any way, so live with it.

Oh my god! The father's pride has been tarnished in front of his friends! Quick, we must justify it by cutting off all communication with his flesh and blood and cause years of psychological distress, in order to save the father's pride! Are you really using this an an excuse to justify disownment? Answer me honestly, now...

In a way, I hope you have a son that turns out to be gay. Of couse, I would feel a lot of sympathy towards a kid with such a closed-minded parent, but sometimes the only way to get these ignorants to open their mind is to have something like this happen to them.

Honestly, I wouldn't wish upon anybody the fate of being a gay child of Frozone.

What I really wish is that Frozone turns out to be gay. Hopefully he won't harm and despise himself.

He stood up for his beliefs by disowning his son.

Disowning a child for any reason, short of maybe mass murder, is a despicable thing to do, and doubly so when you're disowning him despite the fact that he isn't harming anybody and just happens to be violating certain passages of your holy book (which you yourself do on a daily basis by wearing clothes of mixed fabrics and eating pork).
