They did this because player numbers dropped below 1 million! It's only the first 50 levels that are free though

All they had to do was get Kotors gameplay and create a persistent world around it. Going free to play so early is pretty much EA admitting it's a complete failure. Too WoW for Kotor fans, not WoW enough for WoW fans.

That's probably because the max level is currently 50.

I laughed so hard.

But yeah, unsurprising. I wonder how many subscribers they think they're gonna gain from this. I'd imagine most people will just play it for the single player campaign like a pseudo KOTOR 3 and then ditch it again.
