The bolded is very true.

If you actually read into Pokemon it's quite interesting... and then there's the creepy Town of Lavender (Lavender Town). *shivers*

duuude, tell me!  What's so special about the Town of Lavender?!

This video seriously creeped me out:

It probably won't creep you out though.

Lavender Town is not creepy, but it introduced me to other creepy tunes like Hand of God and other Dosers.

Did you even watch the video? Lavender Town is creepy!

The first console I ever owned was a Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1988. I wasn't even a fan of Nintendo's games back then. I was more into stuff from Capcom, Konami, Acclaim, etc. It wasn't until I got my hands on Super Mario 3 and Super Mario World (SNES) that I became a die hard Nintendo fanboy. That's when I discovered that if the name "Nintendo" was on the box, I was in for a good time.

I'll support them until the end. I'm even going to buy a Wii U the day it comes out despite not being very hyped for any particular game.

I don't like Sony. I've owned a PS1 with over 100 games, a PS2 with over 100 games, a PS3 with a ton of games, two PSP's, and a Vita with a lot of games. While I openly admit that the PS1 and PS2 were the best consoles of their gen (though I preferred the Gamecube over the PS2--personal bias) and the PSP was my favorite portable ever made at the time, I still don't like Sony.

Why? Because when I looked at my 100 PS1 games, only two or three of them were from Sony (Gran Turismo, Crash Team Racing, Crash Bandicoot 3, Ape Escape, and Wild Arms). When I looked at my PS2 collection, only a handful were from Sony (Omega Boost, GTA 3, Mark of the Kri, Rise of the Kasai, Ico, and a couple others I can't remember). Anyway, it became obvious to me that Sony wasn't the head of their own ship. They were just coasting on the success of their third parties. They didn't even have a game ready for their own console launch in 2000!! They made decent hardware but none of their games were the games that defined their consoles. Only now, in the PS3 era, does it seem that Sony is trying to be a leader.

And while there are a few truly stellar franchises (Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Uncharted, LBP) most of them are franchises I bought based on tremendous hype and aren't really "must play" in my opinion. Aside from Kudos to them for trying to innovate, though. I just don't like Sony's style. Many of their big franchises are technically sound but just feel generic to me.

I'm kinda neutral on the Xbox 360. Not a fan of Microsoft but not a hater of them, either. 360 is my favorite console, this gen, though.

So here's where I stand:
Nintendo-Favorite company. Least played home console. Most beloved portable (for now) the 3DS.
Sony-Least favorite company. Purchased every console they've ever made. Love the PSP/Vita
Microsoft- Don't really care and yet I've bought more 360 games than I have for any console, ever. I even have two Xbox 360's in two different rooms of my house. May be my favorite console, ever.

I guess I'm crazy.

100% red blooded Nintendo fanboy.

Yah, right! Prove it.

I have a tramp stamp of the original NES logo over my ass buddy boy! Beat that!

Why is it that the 5th sentence in rule number 11 of the forum rules has been forgotten recently?

Axum is in charge over the tyrant Machina. Machina was the one who enforced the dumbest banning rule this site has the most.

You should get into iDosers, tunes that act as drugs. Gates of Hades is the creepiest thing ever. Just listen to it lying in your bed at night with your eyes closed.

Ok, I'll do the percentage thing too.

40% - Sony
30% - Sega
20% - Nintendo
10% - Microsoft

Wow, I started the fanboy thread and my ratios are likely the most balanced! Lemme see here:

Sony - 35%
Steam - 25%
Nintendo - 25%
Microsoft - 15%

I have a clear winner, but they all have their deals.

Oh, another reason Sony is best: Blu Ray. I'm a film student, I've got a DVD and Blu Ray collection over 500 strong, I'm really into the moviegoing experience, and the PS3 has all the game features I want (Save Backwards Compatibility) and the movie features I want.

Gonna buy a brand new 500 gig super slim PS3 when it comes out, and take my previous two PS3's and Fallout-3 them together with duct tape (put my one disc drive in my backwards compatible PS3 whos disc drive broke but ALL the other features work just fine). anyone know how to do that?

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Ironic that many think Sony killed Sega as a console maker.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
