I don't like Microsoft because I don't believe they belong in the home console business.  I didn't mind the original xbox (played it when at friends) but once I heard the RROD failures of the 360 then I knew to avoid anyone that makes shitty consoles (they improved it but it took a couple years).  Also, I don't have any close friends that have a 360 and I don't give a shit about any of their exclusive franchises except maybe Crimson Skies.

I don't like Sony because my launch PS1 overheated right after the warranty ran out, and I saw how defective the PS2 systems were.  They made improvements in reliability with the PS3 though.

I like Sony more than Microsoft though (except maybe Sony's PR).

100% red blooded Nintendo fanboy.

You're playing two games that aren't even available on Nintendo systems. therefore, you are not a Ninty fanboy

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Hi my name is Roma and i'm a Nintendo Fanboy! there I said it! why are you all acting all surprised? it's true >:|

well actually I'm more of a Nintendifender against the stupid trolls who like to talk while they have their head up their asses. I don't get people who like to just throw things at something even though they don't need to. sure I have done that a couple of times myself but thats only to get back at some of the posters. I hate myself for lowering myself to their level but sometimes I can't help it! but recently I've just ignored trolls and stopped feeding them. it's kind of like an addiction but watching them starve is more fun these days

Nintendo is not perfect but they sure as hell give me the best games out there and they keep on surprising me. other company games tend to get stale after the second outing. they just don't know how to keep games alive for a long time. i didn't even complete half of the first half of Gears of War :P

I just hate Sony but I have one weakness which is team ico games :P thats the only game that would make me buy a Sony console

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

I'm a long time gamer (a long, long time gamer) with a limited taste in what i like and don't like.

My first gaming device was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (ask your dads about it!) from which I moved on to a Commodore Amiga, which was a great piece of kit. Commodore then produced their Amiga CD32 which would have been amazing but for the fact that Commodore went bankrupt soon after its release.

When the PS1 came out I bought it straight away. In my opinion, the Amiga CD32 was a better console and it would have been interesting to see how the two machines would have fared had Commodore survived. I grew to love the PS1 and bought the PS2 immediately on its release.

Microsoft's initial foray with the XBox left me cold but, in this generation I have both the 360 and the PS3. If pushed, I would say that I use the PS3 more because games like Uncharted appeal to me more than Halo type games and the Sony exclusives are more to my liking.

I also bought a Wii, primarily because my daughter wanted one. I never got into the Nintendo games.

So...am I a fanboy...I don't believe so.

I am not a fanboy of any gaming company. I am a Game of Thrones fanboy though!

Apple could be considered a Gaming Company by some.

And...? What's your point?

You've lost your touch, you can't even tell when someone is being sarcastic anymore. ;-P

Not sure if this is continued sarcasim or just plain irony.

Nintendo 100%. Mostly because i tend to buy only between 9-13 games a year, for want of both money and time, and Nintendo is the one i most prefer. Very, very little on non-Nintendo platforms (including PC) really screams "buy me!" Though i'm sure a great many of the games are quite enjoyable in their own right.

PC gaming in particular has never agreed with me. WASD sucks hideously in my opinion, graphics cards have a fun habit of destroying my systems if i try to install them (two separate occasions with my parents' computer in the past). I'm currently playing on PC on pain of... something from Khuutra, who gifted me Knights of the Old Republic so that i would stop trash-talking BioWare over the travesty that was Sonic Chronicles, which is otherwise the only BioWare game i've played because its the only BioWare game available to me (until Mass Effect 3 hits Wii U. Kotor has been interesting so far, and if i end up really loving it, perhaps i will hit up ME3).

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'm gonna break it down by generation:

- Fifth generation -

Nintendo: 95 %
Playstation: 5 % (played it very rarely at a friend's house, mainly Worms and some Tekken)

- Sixth generation -

Nintendo: 70 %
Playstation: 5 % (another friend this time, enjoyed some GTA action =)
Xbox: 25 % (Halo: CE/Halo 2 entered my life!)

- Seventh generation -

Nintendo: 24 % (and about half of that is using my Wii as Gamecube...)
Playstation: 1 %
Xbox: 75 %

I have always supported Nintendo's handhelds, starting with GBP. The DS is the best one by far. Only borrowed a PSP for very short periods.

The only Xbox exclusives I play is the Rare games and Halo, so I wouldn't call myself a Microsoft fanboy. I do admit (unlike MBP) to being a Nintendo fanboy though :P

In terms of software publishers preference, I'd say I'm:

35% 3rd Party
30% Nintendo
20% Sony
15% Microsoft

For console preference this gen:

40% PS3
35% Xbox 360
25% Wii

I know, it's going to be a surprise to most, but I'm a Batman fanboy.
