Just beat the game last night... so epic, awesome, beautiful, etc.

They really made this MMO into something special story-wise. There was a lot of annoying quests leading up to the interesting ones though. :P

Time to start getting end-game gear and leveling up all my other classes! Sucks that there's maintenance for the entire evening tonight (PDT).

Yeah man. This is what I call a comeback, and I just know its going to get even better.

The long maintenance will cover these three things.

  1. Substantially increase the number of Worlds.
  2. Create a third duty finder group to further alleviate server stress.
  3. Increase the number of servers used for instances.
A number of fixes as well. Some people are going to be pissed lol

-An auto-logout feature has been introduced wherein characters that are inactive for 30 minutes will be automatically logged out of the game.
The following adjustments and countermeasures have been implemented:
-Changes have been made to the behavior and mechanics of the enemies found within the “The Wanderer’s Palace” and “Amdapor Keep” dungeons to counteract instances of players running through the dungeon without engaging enemies on the way to bosses.
As advancing through dungeons without defeating enemies is not an intended strategy, we plan to continue making further changes in the future to discourage this type of behavior.

Hey guys, I'm going to be picking this up at weekend, I Havnt played a mmo since phantasy star online so will I find this game a bit overwhelming at the start or is it easy going on newcomers?

This MMO was made for new players and veterans alike. You shouldn't have too difficult of a time getting into it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask here. 

 

The patch they just performed was great on almost all means, but since they nerfed AK speed running, it is going to take way too long to get the tokens needed to upgrade all your gear and weapon. They really need to rethink the amount of tokens you're awarded with. That being said, they did say "we have increased the amount of AllaganCoins that can be obtained from a treasure chest."

 

So maybe we will get enough coins to compensate for the loss of speed runs.

Now that i am lvl 47 i have this word of advice. Be ready for a slow combat system and alot of grinding.

I dont think this is gonna end up well. But, its alot more playable than XI and XIV v1.0.

this game is an mmorpg, but before that it is an rpg, and even before that it is final fantasy.

the system is very easy to learn, but hard to master. combo rotations, dodging, and party limit breaks. it has lots of goodies an features that allows you to play at your own pace.

Just beat easy mode titan. The encounters in this game are tons of fun.
