Great that means i dont have to buy a new computer, I have 2 laptops at the moment (a mac and HP Pc) both are only about a year old but neither is working that great right now, I doubt they'd stand any chance of running this game & i hate buying computers, normally because i have no idea what to look for, though i suppose in this case i could probably buy the game, take the box to a salesman & get them to sell me a computer that would run it right

Still I do prefer console, so I'll just go with that

If you want computer advice, we have some very helpful and knowledgable people here! And if you're afraid to put it together yourself, there are certain companies who you can buy computers through and they'll get every part you specify (they have a list you go through that helps make sure you don't miss any pieces) and ship the finished computer to you. My friends and I have bought computers through one such website, ibuypower.com, and we've never been disappointed. They have great warranties too!

Anyways, only brought that up since it seems like your laptops are very old and you may be wanting to upgrade soon. Remember, the PS3 version will be the lowest-settings, super gimped version! :P Be cool and play it on the PC with the rest of us awesom cats.

Alright alright, I'm done.

Final Fantasy VII Limit Break system is implemented in Final Fantasy XIV. It looks like a group combat system in which one person starts the chain, and in this case the Black Mage finishes it off with a Meteor. :)

Probably the first online FF and MMO in general that I will play.

The music in that trailer is so dope. I'm so glad Naoshi Mizuta is back!

Did you get the Final Fantasy XIV - Eorzean Frontiers OST CD off iTunes? Square-Enix was selling it for $3.99 for 38 songs! I bought it right before it got taken off the iTunes store. I can't stop listening to the CD. I love the Garuda fight song and Good King Moogle Mog XII.

This looks really promising, the least I'll do is keep tabs on the game :)

Hopefully they also release a PS3 bundle package + 6 months subscription.

Special talk session with the developers. Translated of course for your viewing pleasure.

12min mark for gameplay

Could this also be a taste of what FFXIII Versus looks like with the luminous engine?

New FFXIV Images Show Off PlayStation 3 User Interface and concept art!

http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/2012/10/11/new-final-fantasy-xiv-images-show-off-playstation-3-user-interface/

The new interface shows off an action bar with 16 total slots. The eight on the left are accessed by pressing the L2 button, and the eight on the right are accessed by pressing R2. The 8 slots are then mapped to the controllers directional pad along with the Circle, X, Triangle, and Square buttons. Up to eight action bars can be set up and can then be cycled through by pressing both L2 and R2.
