Get it all the time on my YT channel. But its the constant acts of saying every fault the 360 has, old or new, taking every piece of negative news and blowing it out of proportion. Overhyping EVERY exclusive, expecting each one to be AAA, giving no thought to realistic scores or sales projections. They always tell me PS3 has the best exclusives and games, but when I point to them the sales performances of some games like Starhawk, they give me the "sales dont matter".....when it counters their notion that PS3 gamers love their exclusives and therefore in theory should be buying them in greater numbers. Furthermore, when a game doesnt get AAA, which is pretty often when you hype EVERY one AAA, they forget about it. They act like they never hyped it, it never happened, but then they move on the the next exclusive coming out and hype it AAA. Its a smugness.........talking trash about a console thats beating them.....but they are totally oblivious to that.
You could accuse me of those. But 360 fans are low in numbers. PS3 ones arent. 360 fans, or at least me, realistically predict sales and metascores. Im trying not to be too elaborate here. Ive been around the block. Im literally "The" 360 go-to fan on YT. Been there for 3 years. 3500 subs. An audience that far surpasses any following you can get on a forum. I know what my supporters act like but I especially know what my haters act like.
You strike me as a sheltered person, unwilling to see or acknowldge the seedier fans of the internet, dismissing them as a vocal minority. I prefer to acknowledge what we have, not playing the "ignorance is bliss" card.

I think its pretty sell known that YouTube users are the scum of the internet. (Or at least they act as such because of no moderation). Those people should be ignored. They are truly of lower class.

Being anonymous allows people to show their true colours. In forums many people are forced to curb their true feelings. You get little "real" feelings. I like YT for the massive audience and especially people telling me how they "really" feel. And that sir is more valuable then any forum post.
GeneralMLD. Now keep in mind my channel is meant to entertain, as is the point of YT, mixed in with semi-genuine opinions. But the biggest mistake is that people assume im like this in the real when in reality when my computer is off im a totally different person. My real self. Youd probably say I was a friendly, social, personable guy :)
Point though, is that I have been around, seen literally thousands of unmoderated opinions, ive literally blocked hundreds that flooded my channel comments with unintelligible insults. I know what im talking about. |
In forums, you don't have to curb your feelings. You just have to be respectful for the most part. You can still express yourself. And it looks like you contradicted yourself. You say YouTube is where people show their true feelings. But then you go and say that your YouTube account isnt your true character. You say its just for entertainment. Couldn't the same be said for every YouTube user? Except instead of conventional entertainment, they find entertainment by having random troll feats.
You could be right that the YouTube users are 'real' but that would mean they are just horrible people, rendering their opinion insignificant and quite frankly, stupid. And thus, they are worth ignoring.
