Opening ceremony was late, didn't even noticed those supposed "pixels". Very random jumps between kids, building the stage, industrial revolution (no kids here), NHS (wtf?), music (no Oasis?), mourning (for whom - everyone?), parade (yeah!!!) and very standard lighting of the Olympic flame that while nice feels too small (can it even be seen from the outside??).

The Mourning is for the people who died during the 7/7 bombings, which occured the day after London won the bid for the games.

And the Olympic flame was awesome! Each petal representing a country, with strips of paper representing the 7billion in the world...it was nice!

The Maritians are getting a thrashing in the Women's Beach Volleyball...now clear your mind of that thought.

So what tickets have you guys got?

I've got 4 sets: Shooting @ Woolwich tomorrow, Weightlifting @ ExCel on Tuesday, Football @ Wembley on Saturday and Paralympic Athletics @ Stratford in Early September. I'm also a volunteer at Heathrow Terminal 1 (where I won the shooting and weightlifting tickets as well).
