TDK and Avengers was better than TDKR

it was the best superhero movie I've seen this weekend.
Plot was ok.
Bane - what the hell is he saying? Not close to be as evil as Joker.
action scenes - just ok. Nothing new.
fighting sequences: Rocky II had better fighting sequences. come one! Batman should have something on his belt to get Bane. heck, call in spiderman from couple of screens over and use his web. Cat Woman fought better.
There is only one reason Levitt is in this movie, otherwise he wasn't important at all.

Bane - Bane is not the Joker. He is the man with the plan. The big one. He is also much more muscular than the joker >_>

Fighting: I was blown away when Bane humiliated Batman. That was some intense shit. Batman used something from his belt, but I don't know what it was supposed to do since it didn't work. Cat woman was young and limber, Batman had just recently started up again.

Levitt actually did a lot in this movie...I do not agree with this.

We can agree to disagree about the movie, but come one, there is only one reason why Levitt was in this movie.  I was expecting a lot from this character.

He just looked into the camera or somewhere yonder and frown.

Maybe it's just that I expected more from his character, but I was not happy.

didn't expect anything from Cat Woman and she turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

And, the movie  has many great actors, but Alfrd (Micahel Caine) was awesome.

Alfred was great but......was it just me that noticed this? Every scene Alfred was in, he said, "You're going to die. Don't do this anymore." and then he'd walk off crying. At that funeral scene, I finally broke down but probably the third time Alfred did that, I thought it was kinda funny.

Comic book fans will never accept it, but this was probably the best way for TDKR to go in order to stand up in the real world. Most people cannot understand the stories.

The first half was boring, imo, and had poor pacing and a lot of underdeveloped or pointless characters. It tried to fit a lot of sub-plots but ended up sloppy. My family hated the first half as well. That 1hr & 20 minutes bogs down the movie a lot, so no, it's not the best hero movie for me. In fact, this movie made me appreciate TDK a whole lot more.

I knew Bane would break Batman's back. I knew it! Ok...maybe it was just dislocated because no way could an old man mend that in that hole. His leg brace worked the whole time? Did Bane not remove it when he beat him?

"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." -My good friend Mark Aurelius

The ending was satisfying in every way. When that woman was like, "you should use your legal name more, Robin." I was like OHHH SNAP.

All in all, it was an amazing way to finish an amazing trilogy. Acting was superb as mentioned and I will probably need to watch it again to fully understand all the dialogue that went on. I will definitely get the Bluray trilogy so I probably won't spend money on going to the theaters again.

There's currently three Dark Knight Rises spoiler threads going on right now. Can we agree to go with one of them? I suggest this one http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=145579&page=1# since it came before this one and after the "predictions thread". It would make it easier to have a conversation. Right now, I'm jumping from thread to thread.

I felt like the first half was very interesting. We see Bane's true power, we see Catwoman doing her thang and Batman came back!

The Bane parts were my favorite; I enjoyed him more than the Joker. He was actually intimidating and powerful. We all got hooked to the movie once the first Bane v Batman started. The whole audience was dead silent after Bane broke Batman's back. It was a cool moment, but we were all in shock that it actually happened.

First half: 5/10
Second half: 9/10
