Forums - Politics Discussion - does anyone fear for obama's life if he gets reelected?

Did the psychic work for the Romney campaign?

I see anything related to predictions of the future as bullshit, so no, I don't.

That's a little closeminded don't you think? Are you saying that out of 7 billion people, not a single one can see the future? I don't like those odds.

Is that sarcasm? It's damned hard to tell on the internets.

Similarly, none can fly, breathe fire or cause hurricanes.

i fear for my (way of) life, if he gets re-elected.

Why? If he no one tried to kill him the first time, why would someone suddenly try the second time? Surely, his first term would have much more sting than his second term.

Hope is indestructible.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

No moreso than other presidents. As early as Andrew Jackson there were nuts that thought killing the president would produce tangible gains for some reason, that's just not true. The only government figures in the US system you can assassinate without helping the other side is Supreme Court Justices, otherwise you just end up with martyrs, like how James Garfield's death cleared a lot of the barriers to Civil Service Reform.

Because i'm sure round 2 will be filled with substantive progress in America as long as Grover Norquist's anti-tax pledge remains a viable thing in Congress.
