No.  Not in the least.  I never understood the allure of a subpar shooter with mediocre stealth elements that consists of playing for a short while, sitting through an absurdly incomprehensible mini-movie cut scene, rinsing, and repeating for 100 hours.

Then why the f**k do people like you come in threads for a product you despise so much, and try to stir sh*t up? Huh? Go f**k yourself.

the truly sad thing is that i find myself thinking this same thing in many of the threads on this site

Trophy Acquired - Intense Self-Loathing: Watch all Cutscenes

Fixed that for you.

I don't understand this. Self-loathing means to hate one's own self. Why does self-hatred have to do with watching all cutscenes?

Seems pretty self explanatory.  The only reason I can think of to punish yourself with those cutscenes is because you hate yourself.

I see.... Did you enjoy the game at least?

Just a little heads up, that last sentence will likely get u banned.

Cool,I'll definitely fire it up again when the patch is out.

I see...with the knowledge that you extremely disliked the game, it is safe for me to assume that upon viewing the thread title, you knew the topic didn't interest you in the slightest. Yet, you entered the thread anyway with pre-established intentions to spark negativity, as you knew there was no chance of you posting anything positive. Why would you enter and post in this thread if you knew your posts within the thread could only be negative? That's a sign of a troll, right there.

its not like this is an opinion thread which discusses Metal Gear Solid 4. In that case, you'd be free to talk down on it all you want. However, this is about trophies FOR Metal Gear Solid 4. And since you didn't like Metal Gear Solid 4 to begin with, then you're opinion of the trophies are really irrelevant. So you really have no reason to be here.

It's not like I posted some huge rant, I made a pretty harmless and minor joke.  I don't really think it is that big of a deal.

Here, to gratify you, I will post something on topic:

It is shocking to me that it took them this long to add trophies to one of the most popular PS-exclusive IPs that they have.  I've been expecting this since the day trophies were released.

Kojima use choicey words to describe the MGS4 rerelease. He calls it a New game version

There's tons of redundant data to speed up access time on the Blu-Ray drive. The same texture or audio file is burned on the disc several times so it can be accessed without jumping back and forth from one end of the disc to the other.

Myths. No evidence after all.

The game have 25-30 hours of unique scenarios/gaphics with a lot of voice actors... no redundand scenarios or environment.

The US version have 33GB of data (no Japonese VO). The JP version have just 29GB (no English VO). The US localization is 4GB bigger than JP localization.

You missunderstand. It's not reused scenarios or environment. It's data that is being used in more than one portion of the game, but unlike most games it's been burned on the disc several times to reduce the access time of the PS3's slow Blu-Ray drive.

you are correct, the Uncharted devs are famous for doing this. this makes them be able to have amazing graphics, environments, sound, etc without any loading stuttering, or  drop in FPS.

Whilst this may be true, the download size for the PSN version (so they shouldn't need to repeat disc burning due to faster loading on HDD) for the Uncharted games is still near 20Gb. That's a lot of data.

great ive been holding off on playing it b/c of this

I wonder if trophy support could mean they've been working on an Xbox 360 version with achievements. Maybe the announcement will connect people with Kinect ;) or through reaching the other half of the market who doesn't have a PS3.

Well now that they finally green lit a 5th game and also have that Re-Vengence crap on the way multi-platform... it may have made sense for someone in the Konami ranks to say need an X360 release to get everybody up to speed.

Was the HD collection of MGS 2,3, and Peace Walker PS3 / Vita exclusive? I know 3DS got MGS 3, but did X360 get anything MGS?
