This is one game I missed out on and want an alternate to Mario kart, been excite truck is fast paced, i know the graphics are crap but its not all about graphics for me, I also heard you can put your own music in game, does anyone have this? And can anyone recommend I get it?

Do you have ExciteBots:Trick Racing. It's great and a much better alternative.

personally I like excite truck much more than ExciteBots.

I had it a few years ago in the Wii's formative years. From my memory it was great fun, the emphasis on tricks meant it wasnt just about winning but winning in style - pulling drifts and airtme got you stars, which counted towards your victory as well as position - and you got boosts for tricking and drifts etc.

Also, the custom soundtracks work a treat. Just shove MP3s on an SD card and you're away.

It's probably aged a bit by now (I no longer have it) but it was great fun back in the day and a fair few events to beat.

Tino Vainmorphingaaflk's brother I Like Bacon (aka Trevor) was a HUGE fan of this game. He even posted some youtube videos back when the game first came out. See if you can force her to get him to log back in. He has the knowledge you seek.

Yeh I played it a ton when I got the Wii. Very fun arcade racer, needed some more content to make it great.

i like Excitebots more, and grafix are far from being crap for PS2/Wii standards

Excitebots never came out in EU, unfortunately. Still waiting to play that game.

I don't have excitebots, does look fun though, I like the idea of putting my own music on there to which I believe they took out on exitebots

Excite Truck is awesome. The graphics are certainly not crap. They aren't great, but they really aren't that bad. You can put mp3's on an SD Card and listen to your own music. I like how the goal is to get the most points instead of coming in first (but that is a HUGE help). The multiplayer is lacking though. Only 2 players and no CPUs. The game was definitel worth the $50 (that my parents paid! XD)
