ATLUS sent a letter to the press explaining why P4A will be region locked. They reiterated that this would be an isolated case, and that it wouldn't affect future games.

I did not expect ATLUS to do such a thing. I guess they were afraid that Japanese gamers would import the cheaper US version as opposed to buying the Japanese version.

With Zen United handling the Euro release, europeans may have to wait until September (at the earliest) before they get P4A.

Yep, it's pretty shitty and I'm seriously considering not purchasing this on principle.

The letter actually seemed really genuine if anybody bothered to read it.and the reasoning is at least sound. I going to wait not cause im pissed off, but im holding out for P4 Golden
