I always hear people with conflicting opinions on this matter, so I'm just curious how the vgchartz community feels about homosexuality e.g. whether they think it is wrong/immoral/socially unacceptable/unnatural or whether they think it is totally fine/each persons choice and people have no right to judge etc. etc.

In my opinion it's their own choice, and it is not "wrong". I wish they would stop with the unnecessary parades though.

No, it's not wrong. It's just a part of biology, it's natural and normal. Hundreds of other species have homosexual members, it's very common. Just like your ethnicity, your sexual orientation isn't something you can choose, it's something you just are.

What's so icky about the idea of your parentshaving sexs or worse grandparens, or anyone above 40(when you were a teen)? or...

So the real quesiton is why so touchy?

ok wanted to post but andrespetmonkey already said what i wanted to say with other species. it can't be "coincidence" that almost every species has some gay. i already explained in another thread that some biologists believe there is a reason for that and that relatives of gay people are more fertile. so that means if a gay guy has a sister, she is more fertile than a woman without gay in the family. no clue how this works but i believe that and it should have a reason why nature works like that.

and even if it would be an "error" and not "normal", it would be still not wrong, why should it be wrong? is it wrong that some straight people don't want kids? nowadays it is very good that we have some of them even if i am not one of them but some might think this is also wrong because a man has a penis and a woman has a vagina to make babies...is it wrong if people use a plain to fly? humans didn't get wings as part of their body, that has to mean humans shouldn't fly! (yeah bad example but still some truth in it haha)

so when i see the poll and see that i voted no as a straight and some gay should have voted no as well, seems like most straight voted with yes...

It's no more wrong than being left handed. It's not the most common, but not wrong.

What's with all the obsession with homosexuality on VGC? It's it just because of all the equal marriage rights legislation going on around the world? Or are a bunch of people questioning themselves? Need for more potatoes in ones diet?

I with all the obnoxious debates over their seem to be really some hostile about it. I don't understand why selective hetros would care what other adults are doing - and see it any different that allowing women the right to vote (USA 19th amendment) I never see the 'well let's just agree to disagree' over women's suffrage (the civil rights movement of 100 years ago).

I'm assuming the 'wrong' used here is morally wrong, not somehow else wrong. If that's the case, I don't really see any reason why it would be wrong.
