Spelunky currently holds a 89 on metacritic. This could fluctuate up or down, but probably stay within 5 points of that score.

Gamesbeat-70(only reason they gave a 70 is because of how difficult it gets)

I'm quite suprised at how well recieved this game is. I wasn't thinking much of it before, but I'll definitely give the trial a shot.

Not really worth it basing the purchase upon reviews so far as there are so few. But will definitely trial it out for myself :)

I knew the very first time I saw it that I would get it.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

lol i never heard of it! ok that gamesbeat site downgraded it because of the hard difficulty which is a plus for me. that means i have to look what this is now

at the time you searched for that on youtube to post it here you could have watched a spelunky video to see if it is the same^^

I did, and they're the same, not saying its a bad thing, I loved the original (the old one) and didn't get a chance to play the HD remake so this is welcome.
