I made a comment on a Skyward sword thread last night stating that Zelda the windwaker was my favourite title for graphics and art style of all time. I stand by that statement,whilst there are more technically advanced games on more technically advanced systems Windwaker has a certain quality in which i think will look good in years to come. It is like an interactive cartoon,akin to a classic disney cartoon that will stand the test of time. Funnily enough there was a big fuss over the graphical direction Nintendo was taking the Zelda franchise back in the day. To me though Wind waker is the best looking game of all time.

I agree with you, WW does look amazing, It's the perfect example of the uncanny valley in video games, and the reason cell shaded games usually look better than the more realistic ones.

I definitely enjoyed not only the art style and graphics of Wind Waker, but the animation styles that all the game employed that fit really well with the visual style.

Agreed, but it can't stand the test of time in terms of anyone remembering since the gameplay that you have to come back to is dreadful. Easiest zelda with the most dialed in moves, simplest puzzles, and shortest dungeons ever.

My fav Zelda however when it comes to the story and the cinematics as well.

My favorite Zelda game, I hope to be playing a HD remake some day.
