I wouldn't mind giving blood. It just going out my way to do it. Plus can you even give blood if you have got alcohol and 2nd hand smoke in your system?

I used to do it as often as I could, but I lost interest over time. I don't know why. I've probably donated more than my fair share anyway, so I don't feel too bad about it.

I am a republican, and to me those who are in need of my blood should not have made the decisions to put themselves in that situation in the first place. I do not want to risk giving my blood to someone who may eventually waste it anyway.

Well, i was donating blood plasm for some time. i went there once a week and got 10€ for this. right after i went drinking with that money and less blood in my body. that was gross.
but then suddenly a doc called me in, saying the stats of my liver are exploding and i wont be able to give my blood anymore. AND none of my organs will ever be allowed to be transplanted. freaky story, and true.

Ih ave. I should do it more often but the place is kind of far away. I try and do it when the mobile one is at the campus.

To all of those scared of needles, get over it! Donating blood is one of the easiest ways to help people.
