I was running to catch my dog, ( who got off her leash) and as i was running through somebody's yard. i ran and stepped on the stub of a bush and it stabbed into my foot about 2 inch's. It bleed profusely and my parents to me to the hospital to get it cleaned and stitched up. Oh and i had a near death experience when i was around 12 years old, i have asthma and had a severe asthma attack that i almost didn't survive.

I once flew off my bike and got a sharp, small, stone stuck on my knee, and it bled like hell when it was removed. My grandfather who's a doctor once said I was lucky it didn't penetrate the kneecap.

So yeah, I liked to bike until I took a stone to the knee.

Probably... when I feel off my bike and hit my mouth against the cement. I broke part of my tooth off... Yeah...

The worst was when I got hit from the side by a car while cycling when I was 10. Broken leg, concussion and a week in the hospital.

I still wipe out once or twice a year on my mountain bike but nothing serious. Last time was just a week ago, I took a corner too fast in the rain. At least the road deck was very wet so the road rash wasn't too bad this time. Better then the front wheel getting stuck on a rock on a downhill rocky path and getting thrown over the handle bars, what usually happens.

Nastiest surprise was when the lawnmower shot a sharp stone out of the back which hit me in my leg. I heard it bounce off my bone. Not very painful but there was a lot of blood and it took almost a year to fully heal.

By far the most painful was also the simplest thing. My wife rushed me to the hospital with severe abdominal pain, I couldn't stand up straight anymore and started reverting into my native tongue, unable to concentrate enough to stay in English. It turned out to be nothing more then gas. The doctor basically told me I was full of shit and suggested a laxative.
